There were 188 Polish servicemen interned in Sweden btwn 17 Sept and May 1945. They were crews members from 3 Polish Submarines, "Rys", "Sep" and "Zbik", the Patrol Motor boat "Batory" and 8 soldiers from the Independent Brigade of Podhalanian Rifle who crossed the Swedish border during the Allied campaign of Norway in 1940.
